Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher, has blamed Chelsea goalkeeper, Robert Sanchez for the Blues’ 2-1 defeat to the Reds in the Premier League on Sunday.

He said the Spaniard was one of the reasons the Blues lost the game.

DAILY POST reports that the Blues suffered a 2-1 defeat at Anfield.

Liverpool’s goals came through the boots of Mohamed Salah (29′ P) and Curtis Jones (51′).

Chelsea took the game to Liverpool and had 57% possession while registering 12 shots at the Reds’ goal.

Carragher noted that Chelsea were let down by their goalkeeper, Sanchez.

“In terms of control, Chelsea were better; what let them down was their goalkeeper; they need a new goalkeeper if they want to get back to where they want to be,” Carragher said (via @CFCPys on X).

Sanchez could have done better to keep out Jones’ strike in the second half.
