Manchester United confirmed on Wednesday that Joe Hugill has signed a new contract with the club.

The Red Devils disclosed this in a statement via their website.

Hugill’s fresh terms will see him remain at Man United until 2026, with the option of a further year.

The 20-year-old has developed well this season and trained regularly with Man United’s first team.

He was included in Erik ten Hag’s side that recently defeated Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup.

Hugill joined United from Sunderland in the summer of 2020.

He has been a regular scorer for the club’s U-18s and U-21s.
