Enyimba head coach, Yemi Olanrewaju says the People’s Elephant won’t underrate Ikorodu City, DAILY POST reports.

The nine-time Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL champions will host Ikorodu City in Aba on Sunday.

The Oga Boys are unbeaten in their last three league games.

It will be the first-ever meeting between Enyimba and Ikorodu City.

Olanrewaju reckoned they cannot afford to take their opponent for granted.

“Yes I’m a Lagosian but Abia is where I work and earn my leaving, and so come Sunday, I will be an Abian,” he told the club’s media.

“I think I know a little bit about them and I know some of their players, we know they will come here to give us a good fight.

“It would be stupid of us to underrate them, we will take the game so seriously and go for the maximum points especially now the gap at the top of the log is opening up.”
