Enyimba technical adviser, Yemi Olanrewaju says his team still have a lot to do to secure qualification to the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The People’s Elephant played out a goalless draw with Burkina Faso side Etoile Filante in the first leg of the second preliminary round tie at the Mamadou Konatè Stadium on Friday.
The return leg will be played next weekend at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
Yemi assured that the team will double up their effort in the return leg.
“The job is not yet done. We can’t celebrate anything until we seal everything next weekend in Uyo,” Yemi said after the game as quoted by BSN Sports.
“For now, there is still a lot of work to be done. They are a good and decent side but tactically we had an edge and our game plan worked. We have to go back home to prepare and work harder to get the job done.
“We had a good game. It’s a game that we dominated but it is sad that we didn’t control the outcome 100 percent.”
