Enyimba chairman, Nwankwo Kanu has backed Yemi Olanrewaju to make a big impact at the club.
Olanrewaju was confirmed as the two-time African champions substantive head coach on Tuesday.
The 32-year-old put pen to paper on a one-year contract.
The young gaffer moved to Enyimba two seasons ago as an assistant coach to Finidi George.
Olanrewaju was instrumental to the Aba giants title success in the 2022/23 season.
“Coach Yemi has been an invaluable member of our coaching staff,” Kanu told Enyimbafc.net.
“We believe he has the skills and expertise to take the team to the next level, and we look forward to seeing the team thrive under his leadership.”
