New Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca, is very keen to work with Robert Sanchez.

Maresca, who has begun his squad planning ahead of preseason, has told the club that Sanchez cannot leave.

According to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, on X: “More on Chelsea plans to continue with Robert Sanchez as goalkeeper.

“Ben Roberts being nominated Head of Global Goalkeeping, one more factor to keep Sanchez.

“Enzo Maresca also informed #CFC that he’s happy to start working with Sánchez, as revealed yesterday.”

Sanchez started last season as first choice, but lost his place to Djordje Petrovic after he got injured.
