Enzo Maresca wants to target three key positions in the transfer market as he prepares to be confirmed as new Chelsea manager, the UK Telegraph reports.

Despite being on holiday, Maresca has already been talking with the Blues’ sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart.

During the conversations, the Spaniard has highlighted priority positions in the squad.

It is believed Maresca is looking first for a goalkeeper, left-back and forward.

Chelsea have lacked a focal point upfront since Diego Costa left in 2017, while neither Djordje Petrovic or Robert Sanchez appears to be a convincing starting goalkeeper for a club with Chelsea’s ambitions.

As for left-back position, Ben Chilwell has missed a considerable amount of football due to injury.
