Enyimba assistant coach Olanrewaju Yemi has acknowledged his smooth working relationship with the outgoing head coach of the team, Finidi George.
Finidi is expected to leave the two-time African champions to concentrate on his new assignment with the Super Eagles.
The 53-year-old was recently appointed head coach of the Super Eagles.
Olarewaju is expected to take charge of Enyimba for the remainder of the season.
“Working with you for the past two years has been fun and inspiring,” Olarewaju wrote in his farewell message to Finidi George.
“Thank you for all you do, boss. I wish you the very best with @NGSuperEagles.”
Finidi guided the Aba giants to their ninth NPFL title last season.
The People’s Elephants are currently third on the table.
