Donald Trump might want to bring his hair net.
The former president is expected to “work the fry cooker” while visiting a McDonald’s this weekend, a source familiar with the matter told CNN on Tuesday.
An NBC affiliate, citing the Trump campaign, said it would be at a franchise in Philadelphia on Sunday.
Without evidence, the Republican has repeatedly disputed Vice President Kamala Harris’ oft-told story that she worked at McDonald’s ― the fryer specifically ― when she was in college. Last month, he said he would “work the french fries” at the Golden Arches and that if he did it for half an hour, it would be more than the Democratic nominee ever did. At the time, he appeared to be riffing. But now it sounds like a real campaign stunt.
Critics were McDelighted to sound off on Trump’s upcoming gig.
“Now, that’s going to sway those undecideds,” one person wrote.
