Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has hit hard at music executive, Don Jazzy while reacting to shade fired at him by Mavin signee, Ladipoe.

Ladipoe, a rapper signed to Don Jazzy’s label, recently mocked Wizkid for his controversial “hip hop is dead” statement.

“Nigerian rappers that survived ‘hip hop is dead’ watching Afrobeat artists go through their own,” Ladipoe wrote via X.

A fan called Wizkid’s attention to the shade on Monday morning but the Starboy boss said, “lol never chatting to anyone signed to an influencer. Next.”

He also retweeted two tweets suggesting that he was referring to Don Jazzy as a social media influencer.
