Liverpool captain, Virgil van Dijk has predicted a tough game when his side face Manchester United in the FA Cup quarterfinals on Sunday.

The match will take place at Old Trafford by 4.30 pm.

Speaking at a recent pre-match presser, via This Is Anfield, the Dutchman said:

“Intense. Not only the actual game but the whole build-up is a game on its own, but I like to be involved in these types of games.

“We always have difficult games against them and I expect a difficult one on Sunday as well. They are finding ways to win but I focus on what we have to do against them. It is always difficult, it is always intense.”

Meanwhile, Liverpool legend, Graeme Souness has predicted a ‘cracking game’ when Jurgen Klopp’s side face Man United in the FA Cup last-8 on Sunday evening.

Souness believes the Old Trafford crowd will rise to the occasion and look to make it a special evening for Erik ten Hag’s side.

“They know this is their last chance of a trophy and I’d expect them to be raising the roof off that stadium to build a rousing atmosphere.

“It’s going to make for a cracking game,” Souness told Daily Mail.
