According to Sport, the Spanish giants have started discussions about the 22-year-old forward.

Barcelona sees the England star as a ‘low cost’ option and has made initial inquiries about his availability, though no formal negotiations have begun yet.

Greenwood has not played for Man Utd since his arrest on serious charges early last year, but has excelled during his loan stint.

He is approaching the final year of his contract with Man United.
