Rivers United General manager, Okey Kpalukwu has assured that the team will make Nigerians proud by qualifying for the next stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Pride of Rivers will lock horns with Dreams FC of Ghana in the final group game of the competition.
The encounter is billed for the Godswil Akpabio Stadium Uyo on Sunday (today).
Kpalukwu revealed that everyone one at the club is working in tandem to achieve the set goal.
“Everyone at Rivers United is moving in the same direction and we desire to win convincingly against Dreams in Uyo to put smiles on the faces of Nigerians,” he told BSN sports.
“Rivers United carries the hopes of the nation and we are not unaware of the responsibility upon us.”
Rivers United must beat the visitors to secure a place on the quarter-finals.
