Former Manchester United star, Davide Petrucci has snubbed the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Rio Ferdinand while naming Paul Scholes as his former Red Devils’ teammate who impressed him the most.
Scholes spent his entire career as a one-club man at Man United, from 1993 to 2013.
The former England international amassed 716 appearances for United, scoring 155 goals and providing 82 assists.
He won several trophies including Premier League titles, two Champions Leagues and four FA Cups.
Speaking with Tribal Football, Petrucci said about his most impressive teammate at Man United:
“When I went to Manchester United I had the honour to train with players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Tevez, Rooney, Ferdinand, Giggs, but the player who impressed me the most was Paul Scholes.
“His qualities were out of this world.”
