Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo has picked his preferred footballer between Lionel Messi and the late Diego Maradona.

Gakpo also picked between Mohamed Salah and Luis Suarez.

The 24-year-old recently took part in a ‘This or That’ trivia with GOAL.

The Netherlands international was asked different questions as he also chose Virgil van Dijk over Sergio Ramos, Robin van Persie over Wayne Rooney and Arjen Robben over Neymar.

Asked to pick between Messi or Maradona, Gakpo said, “Messi.”

On Salah versus Suarez, he added, “Salah.”

Gakpo has been impressive for Liverpool since joining the Premier League giants from PSV last year.
