Former Manchester United defender, Rio Ferdinand, has admitted it is “going to be a long day” when the team play Manchester City in the Premier League this weekend.

The Red Devils go to The Etihad on the back of a 2-1 home defeat to Fulham.

City, on the other hand, are in second place behind Liverpool on the table and are looking to go on a winning run.

Pep Guardiola’s team is currently on a 17-game unbeaten streak in all competitions.

“It’s going to be a long day, man.

“It’s hard enough to go to the Etihad anyway, but we’re going there with no confidence,’ he said when asked for a prediction ahead of the Etihad clash.

“I think we get beat by two goals. Convincingly,” Ferdinand said on Vibe with FIVE podcast.
