Rangers forward, Cyriel Dessers has reflected on the Light Blues comprehensive 5-0 victory against Hearts.
Dessers bagged a brace in the encounter to increase his tally in the Scottish Premiership this season to 12.
The 29-year-old has so far registered 16 goals and five assists across all competitions for the Gers.
The Nigeria international was duly named Man of the Match after the game.
“It was a really beautiful afternoon for everyone who loves Rangers. I think we played a very good game against a good team, let’s not forget they are third in the league,” Dessers told Rangers TV.
“Although the result is 5-0, I didn’t think they played a bad game, but I think we were really effective and we did our job. If you can see this atmosphere at Ibrox, it is an amazing afternoon.
“You feel from the first minutes at Ibrox that the energy is always buzzing but if you can score a goal at that point, it’s a big knock for them.”
Rangers moved five points clear at the top of the table following the win.
