Bayelsa United have received a massive boost ahead of their Nigeria Premier Football League matchday 21 fixture against Akwa United.

The Prosperity Boys will welcome centre-back Ogundare Arise back from injury.

Ogundare has been sidelined with a knee injury for over two months.

The enterprising defender was spotted in Bayelsa United’s training session on Thursday in Yenagoa.

He is expected to be listed in coach Diepreye Tiebowei’s squad for the trip to Eket.

Bayelsa United will be up against Akwa United at the Eket Township Stadium on Sunday.

The 2022 Federation Cup winners occupy 18th position on the NPFL table.
