Edo Queens captain, Efemweokiekie Osakpolor has assured the club’s supporters that the team will make them proud in the CAF Women’s Champions League.
Osakpolor made the pledge ahead of the team’s departure for the prestigious women’s club competition.
The competition is billed to run from Saturday, November 9 to Saturday, November 23rd, in Casablanca and El Jadida in Morocco.
Osakpolor expressed gratitude to the Edo State government for their support.
“By the grace of God, we are going to make not just the state proud, but also make you proud as well,” Osakpolor stated in her address.
Edo Queens are in group B alongside reigning champions, Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies, FC Masar and the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia.
