Spanish Iberdrola side Madrid CFF have confirmed the signing of Falconets forward Opeyemi Ajakaye.

Ajakaye is the club’s second signing in the winter market, following the arrival of Gio Queiroz.

She signed a contract until June 30, 2027.

The 18-year-old joined Madrid CFF from Nigeria Women’s Football League outfit, Robo Queens.

The striker scored four goals for Nigeria at the 2022 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.

Ajakaye has already scored once for the Falconets in the qualifying series for the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
