Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Usman Ododo on Wednesday welcomed Super Eagles goalkeper, Ojo Olorunleke, team manager, Dayo Enebi Anchor and chief security officer, Frank Adejoh to his private residence in Lokoja.

The visit was in honour of the Super Eagles performance at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Olorunleke, Enebi and Adejoh are all indigenes of Kogi State.

Olorunleke, who plays for Nigeria Premier Football League champions, Enyimba was Super Eagles third choice goalkeper at the competition.

The shot stopper was also the only local player in the squad.

His wife, Tosin Olorunleke accompanied him to the governor’s residence.

Also in attendance were chairman of Kogi State Football Association, Mallam Hassan Wada and Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Monday Anyebe.

It would be recalled that the Super Eagles finished second at the AFCON 2023 finals after losing 2-1 to hosts Cote d’Ivoire in the final.
