Bayelsa United have confirmed the departure of striker, Robert Mizo to Libyan side, Al Hilal Benghazi.
Mizo joined Al Hilal on a three-and-a-half year deal.
The prolific forward bid farewell to Bayelsa United after their matchday 17 clash with Shooting Stars.
“We pray for him to keep scoring for his new club Al Hilal in his quest for greatness, we equally wish him a productive stay that will see him earn a national team call up soon,” the club wrote on their X handle.
The 23-year-old forward joined Bayelsa United during the 2017/18 season.
Mizo helped the club lift the Federation Cup in 2021.
He also played a crucial role in the Yenagoa club’s promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League.
He was the second top scorer in the NPFL last season.
