Atletico Madrid star, Antoine Griezmann has commented about his compatriot, Kylian Mbappe’s reported switch to Spanish La Liga club, Real Madrid this summer.

Griezmann said that he would be very happy to play derbies against Mbappe.

Both players represent the France national team and play key roles for Les Bleus, even helping them win the FIFA World Cup in 2018.

Mbappe had last week reportedly informed PSG of his decision to leave the club once his contract expires at the end of the season.

The 25-year-old has been linked with Real Madrid, Arsenal and Liverpool.

“Mbappé? He’d be very welcome in Spain.

“I’d be very happy to play derbies against him,” Griezmann told Le Monde.
