Super Falcons goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie insists the team must brace up for a tough test when they confront the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon on Friday.

The third round first leg contest will hold at the Stade de la Reunification, Douala.

The Super Falcons are bidding to make a return to the Olympics after failing to qualify for their last three editions.

Ahead of the game, Nnadozie has warned his Falcons teammates to be ready for a difficult duel.

“It’s a very tough encounter awaiting us against Cameroon,” the Paris FC goalie told FIFA.com.

“They’re a very good team, composed of very experienced players. We need to be cautious, but I have great confidence in my team.”

The Super Falcons have a better head-to-head record against their fierce rival.

Randy Waldrum’s side also defeated the Indomitable Lionesses 1-0 the last time both teams met at the 2022 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations.

Nnadozie added: “We shouldn’t dwell on our past victories against them.

“We need to stay focused, train harder, work harder, and stick together. By doing so, we can beat them, I believe.”
