Montpellier Forward, Jerome Akor has been backed to end his goal drought by teammate Arnaud Nordin.

Akor failed to score in his last 12 league games for Montpellier.

The Nigerian started the season in fantastic form, netting seven times in his first 10 games for Montpellier.

His impressive form attracted the interest of AC Milan and West Ham United.

Nordin believed his teammate will soon rediscover his form in front of goal.

“As you have seen, Akor has a lot of qualities. It happens to a lot of attackers to have a slack period,” Nordin was quoted by Allezpaillade.

“I have complete confidence in him, he is someone who works a lot. So I think it will come back, he shouldn’t be totally focused on that, because it could make him thwart, but naturally, it will turn around and I will be the first happy for him as soon as he gives us goals.”
