Chelsea attacker, Cole Palmer has admitted that he will find it ‘strange and weird’ when his team face Manchester City in an away Premier League tie at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
Palmer swapped Man City for Chelsea in a deal worth £42.5 million in the summer of 2023.
The 21-year-old is arguably Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino’s best player this season.
He has produced 12 goals and nine assists in 28 games for Chelsea so far this term.
“It will be strange, a weird feeling, but I am looking forward to it and the team’s looking forward to it,” Palmer told Chelsea’s website about the Blues’ upcoming Premier League tie with Man City.
“I am very excited to be honest, even though it will be strange. Obviously, I played against them at Stamford Bridge.
“But I think going back to the Etihad will be even stranger. I am really looking forward to it.”
