Former Super Eagles defender Godfrey Oboabona has rejoined Nigeria Premier Football League side, Sunshine Stars.
DAILY POST reports that Oboabona is making a return to the NPFL since moving abroad in 2013.
The 33-year-old has been without a club since leaving Georgian side, Dinamo Batumi in 2020.
Oboabona joined the Owena Waves on a short-term deal with an option for extension.
He is expected to bring his experience into the young Sunshine Stars team.
Oboabona played a key role during Sunshine Stars continental appearance.
He won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations trophy with Nigeria.
