Enyimba chairman Kanu Nwankwo has equipped the team’s stadium indoor training centre with gym equipment to boost players’ overall performance.
Nwankwo pointed out that the motive is aimed at improving the output of the team.
“This is the standard over there in Europe and even some in some North African club sides, and it improves the performance of players,” he told the players during the presentation of the gym equipment.
“That’s why I went out of my way to acquire these items for the players, and I am very optimistic they will make good use of them towards their development.”
Reacting to the development, Assistant Captain Somiari Alalibo thanked the chairman on behalf of the players, saying it would help their push to successfully defend the title they won last season.
DAILY POST recalled that the former Arsenal legend has continued to transform the nine-time NPFL champions into a marketable brand since his appointment.
