Former Sevillar star, Nolito has backed Kelechi Iheanacho to become a key player for the Rojiblancos.

Iheanacho has struggled to make positive impact since linking up with Sevilla on a free transfer in the summer.

The forward scored twice in Garcia Pimienta’s side Copa del Rey victory over La Rozas last week.

The 28-year-old is however yet to find the net in six league appearances for the former UEFA Europa League champions.

Despite his slow start at the club, Nolito believed the Nigerian will soon rediscover his best form.

“He’s a good guy, and I hope he brings us some joy this year. He lacks a bit of rhythm, I am confident that he will gradually improve. He’s a good footballer,” Nolito said in an interview with Orgullobiri.
