Heartland Football Club of Owerri on Sunday, beat Abia Warriors of Umuahia, running away with two goals.
The defeat is the second time Abia Warriors is losing at home this present Nigeria Professional Football League season.
Heartland scored one goal in the 12th minute of the first half through Michael Ogu and scored another one in the second half through Agor Chukwuemeka.
Countless efforts made by the Abia Warriors strikers and midfielders to equalize or win the match proved abortive as Heartland defenders formed solid cover around their goal post.
