Nigeria Women’s Football League side, Edo Queens have declared forward, Chioma Esther Moses absent without
official leave (AWOL).
Edo Queens made the disclosure in a release posted on the club’s X handle.
The club’s camp commandant, Bunmi Kayode, said that the player has since been reported to the head coach of the team and the club’s secretary.
“Chioma Esther Moses left the camp of the club without our knowledge or permission of the management,” the release reads.
“For the record, Chioma Esther Moses has an existing contract with Edo Queens FC.
“The club management did not receive any complaints from the player on any issue affecting her, and there was no negotiation between the player and the management that she would leave the club by mid-season.
“All efforts to reach her have proved abortive, which has now prompted the management of the club to declare her AWOL.”
