Former Barcelona midfielder, Arturo Vidal, has mocked Real Madrid on social media.

He was reacting to the Carlo Ancelotti side’s 4-0 defeat to Barcelona in last Saturday’s El Clasico.

Barça beat Real Madrid to 4-0 despite the reigning champions arriving at the game in fine form.

Real Madrid had despatched Borussia Dortmund 5-2 in the Champions League last week.

With the likes of Vinicius Junior and Kylian Mbappe raring to go, Real Madrid were expected to give a tough fight to the high-flying Barcelona.

However, the Catalans dominated their archrivals in their backyard.

Robert Lewandowski scored twice while Lamine Yamal made it 3-0 in the 77th minute and Raphinha made it four for the Catalans.

Following the result, Vidal shared a message on social media celebrating his former team’s win, stating:

“1, 2, 3 and 4…”

The result helped Barcelona stay at the top of the LaLiga table.
