Former Spain goalkeeper Iker Casillas has snubbed Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo as the best players to ever play for either Barcelona or Real Madrid.
The 43-year-old picked late Argentina legend Diego Maradona as the best player to ever play for one of either club.
Casillas stated this in a quick-fire round of questions while speaking recently to GOAL.
He picked former Real Madrid striker Raul over former Barcelona striker Samuel Eto’o in the first comparison question thrown at him.
The Spaniard then changed his choice in the second question as he picked Ronaldo Nazario over Raul.
He changed his choice when Zinedine Zidane was mentioned, as he picked the Frenchman over the Brazilian.
Casilla then picked Maradona over Zidane.
Finally, when Messi and Ronaldo were mentioned, Casilla still went with Maradona as the best player to ever play for either Barcelona or Real Madrid.
