Former Manchester United Midfielder, Owen Hargreaves has claimed that manager Erik ten Hag is ‘worried’ about Rasmus Hojlund’s workload ahead of their Premier League clash with West Ham United this weekend.

Hargreaves spoke after Man United’s Europa League 1-1 draw with Fenerbahce on Thursday.

The Denmark international featured in the Europa League clash as he came off the bench to replace Joshua Zirkzee in the second half.

Speaking on TNT Sports, the former England midfielder said: “He [Ten Hag] is worried about Hojlund and his minutes, he knows he needs him for West Ham at the weekend.

“It was a fair result in the end. I don’t think United can expect to go there and win right now, given their form.

“But three points after three [Europa League] games isn’t good enough, clearly.”
