Club Brugge manager, Nick Hayen has said he will have a calm talk with Raphael Onyedika after the Nigerian was sent off in the 3-1 loss to AC Milan on Tuesday.

Onyedika was issued a red card for a poor challenge five minutes before the break.

It’s the second time the defensive midfielder will receive the marching order in his last four appearances in the Champions League.

Hayen stated that it is important for the player to cut out mistakes from his game.

“We were, of course, surprised that Raphael got red. I think we can talk about bad luck – and unfortunately, the decision fell to our disadvantage, “Hayen said after the game.

“We will have a calm talk about it on Wednesday. In that area, we are a warm club that does not let players fall. We will try to find a solution, but this kind of error needs to be worked on at Raphael”.
