Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has said Riccardo Calafiori, picked up a problem during their 1-0 win over Shakhtar Donetsk on Tuesday night.
Calafiori appeared to injure his knee in the second half and was unable to continue.
The Italian defender was replaced by Myles Lewis-Skelly for the rest of the game.
Speaking after the game, Arteta also revealed that Bukayo Saka is not back in training.
He said: “[Bukayo] Saka not training yet, so he won’t be available and Ricci [Calafiori] felt something and could not stay on. Bit of a worry.”
Arsenal’s next fixture is a crucial Premier League game against Liverpool at home.
