Joe Aribo opened his goal account for the season in Southampton’s 3-2 home defeat to Leicester City on Saturday.

Cameron Archer gave Southampton the lead after eight minutes.

Aribo doubled the advantage two minutes before the half hour mark with Kyle Walker- Peters providing the assist.

The Saints however capitulated after the break, conceding thrice.

Aribo was in action for the entire duration of the game.

His compatriot, Paul Onuachu took the place of Archer in the 68th minute.

Leicester City paraded Wilfred Ndidi for the entire duration of the keenly contested encounter.
