Galatasaray head coach, Okan Buruk has denied that the club has an interest in Nigeria defender, Bright Osayi-Samuel.

Osayi-Samuel is currently in the final year of his contract with Galatasaray’s Istanbul rival, Fenerbahce.

The former Queens Park Rangers star declined to sign a new contract in the summer as he is seeking an increase in salary.

Fenerbahce is, however, still working hard to get him to sign an extension.

The full-back was recently linked with a move to Galatasaray and French club, Lille.

Buruk has now come out to dismiss the reports linking Osayi-Samuel to the Turkish Super Lig champions.

“So far, we have had no contact or talks with Bright Osayi-Samuel. We are not currently working on a transfer, ” he was quoted by TV 100.
