Former Manchester United and Real Madrid defender, Raphael Varane has been appointed as a new board member for Serie A club Como.

This was disclosed by a football transfer expert in a tweet via his X account on Saturday.

“Raphael Varane has been appointed as a new board member for Como, all signed. The decision has been confirmed after his retirement,” Romano tweeted.

Varane’s appointment comes after he recently retired from professional football in September.

The Frenchman decided to hang his boots after an injury-plagued stint at Como.
