Inter Miami co-owner, David Beckham, has revealed that he has imposed a strict fashion ban on the club’s players.

It comes as a surprise, as Beckham has always been a trailblazer when it comes to fashion.

But the former England midfielder has banned members of the Inter Miami squad from sharing their pre-match outfits on social media.

In a chat on Rio Ferdinand’s YouTube channel, both men spoke about the trend of athletes, particularly in U.S. sports like basketball, flaunting their fashion choices before games.

It was then Beckham revealed that he enforced something similar at Inter Miami.

“Yeah, funnily enough, our team started doing it a couple of times and I stopped that,” he said

His decision to enforce the ban shocked Ferdinand, who teased Beckham and said: “The man about fashion. The man who broke down all the barriers…”

Beckham cut him short and clarified: “Yeah, but we weren’t winning games at that point.”
