Abia Warriors technical adviser Imama Amapakabo has described the narrow victory over Kwara United as a valuable point.

Amapakabo believed that the win will help the team back on track after their disappointing results in Enugu last week.

Abia Warriors defeated Kwara United 1-0 in a matchday six fixture at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Sunday.

Sunday Megwo grabbed the victory for Abia Warriors.

“It’s a valuable point as we needed this victory to get us back on the road with belief,” Amakpakabo stated in a post-match interview.

“Tough as it is now with the league now there are no minors, teams are coming out to play and it’s an exciting game and a well deserved three points.”

Abia Warriors are ninth on the Nigeria Premier Football League table with eight points.
