Manchester United legend, Gary Neville has said that the club should never have sold Danny Welbeck.

According to Neville, Welbeck is currently in a better form than all of Man United’s attackers.

Welbeck made 142 appearances for the Red Devils after coming through the club’s academy.

The Englishman was a part of the last Man United team to win the title under legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

He decided to leave United in 2014 after growing frustrated with his lack of game-time and joined Arsenal in a deal worth £16 million.

“He’s in better form than any of the United front players, by far.

“Danny Welbeck, to be fair, should never have been let go at United,” Neville said on Stick to Football with Sky Bet while speaking with former teammate Roy Keane.
