Super Falcons forward, Chinonyerem Macleans, has sealed a move to Saudi club, Al-Shabab.

Macleans joined Al-Shabab from Russian club, Locomotiv Moscow.

The 25-year-old spent two years at Locomotiv Moscow, scoring 14 times in 33 league appearances.

The striker’s arrival increased the number of Nigerian players at Al-Shabab to three with Rita Chikwelu and Chinaza Agoh already a key member of the squad.

Speaking after her unveiling, Macleans stated: “I’m excited to join Al Shabab Women FC and contribute to the team’s success. Saudi Arabia’s vision for women’s football is inspiring, and I’m proud to be part of this journey.”

She was part of the Super Falcons squad to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
