Rafael Leao has warned his AC Milan teammates to be wary of Bayer Leverkusen striker, Victor Boniface.
Bayer Leverkusen will host the Serie A giants in a UEFA Champions League clash at the BayArena on Tuesday (today).
Boniface has established himself as Leverkusen’s main striker since his arrival at the Bundesliga champions last summer.
The 23-year-old will be expected to deliver the goods for Die Werkself against Paulo Fonseca’s men.
Ahead of the encounter, Leao described the Nigerian a ”technical and very dangerous attacker”.
“I know Boniface, he’s a technical and very dangerous attacker; Chukwueze is his national teammate and he’s spoken about him this week,” Leao told the club’s official website.
“We will need to be prepared to face all of their team, because they play well, even the wide players Grimaldo and Frimpong who are very dangerous. They’ll need our attention and respect, but we can’t let them scare us.”
