Former Manchester City defender, Micah Richards has explained why Chelsea attacking midfielder, Cole Palmer is different from the rest of his peers.
Richards hailed the England international’s versatility on the pitch.
Chelsea’s last Premier League game ended in a 4-2 win against Brighton at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
All four goals were scored within the first half by Palmer who took center stage with an extraordinary display.
The England international became the first player to do so in a Premier League match.
Speaking on The Rest is Football podcast, Richards said, “Cole Palmer can play on the right and in central areas.
“Joleon [Lescott] mentioned about playing deep. He can play anywhere. And I think that’s what separates him from the rest.
“I think he can have an effect on the game from whatever position he is playing.”
