Former Liverpool midfielder, Danny Murphy has identified Manchester United as the team that will not come compete for the Premier League title this season.
Murphy believes the Res Devils would struggle to finish in the Premier League top-four this season.
This is coming after Erik ten Hag’s side played a 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace over the weekend.
Man United are 11th in the standings after five games, winning two games.
“They brought in Zirkzee, the only attacking player. He’s a young lad. He’s not a goal scorer. He is not really a centre-forward,” conceding. Murphy said on Match of the Day.
“That is not going to get Manchester United where they want to be in terms of competing for the title, even top four I think they are going to struggle even if they make chances and have creativity in the team.”
