Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has equalled former Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo’s record for the fewest matches taken to reach a century of goals for a single club.

Haaland’s 100th goal in all competitions for Manchester City came in his side’s Premier League 2-2 draw against Arsenal on Sunday.

The Norway international opened the scoring after only nine minutes.

The goal means Haaland reached the milestone in just 105 Man City appearances since signing from Borussia Dortmund in 2022.

However, it took Ronaldo 105 appearances to reach 100 goals for Real Madrid after joining the Spanish club from Manchester United.
