Referee Anthony Taylor has not been assigned a Premier League fixture this weekend.
This comes after he took charge of the Bournemouth vs Chelsea clash last Saturday.
After the game, he was targeted by online trolls.
Chelsea won the game at Vitality Stadium thanks to a late goal from Christopher Nkunku.
But it was Taylor in the spotlight after he issued a record 14 yellow cards during the match, plus a further two to the coaching staff.
He has since been the subject of vile abuse on social media, with some users even issuing death threats against Taylor and his family.
The Premier League is set to launch an investigation into the abuse, with Taylor being offered support by the PGMOL.
