Manchester United legend, Gary Neville has criticized Tottenham Hotspur striker Dominic Solanke when he missed a good opportunity to score for Spurs against Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday.
Neville spoke while on commentary duty for Sky Sports.
During the encounter, Solanke missed a glorious chance to score for Ange Postecoglou’s side in the first and Neville was not pleased with the 27-year-old.
“He has got to do better than that. Solanke had about six or seven metres to himself and he takes so much time,” Neville was quoted as saying by The BBC.
“You just don’t get that level of time and he got it stuck between his feet.”
A second half goal from Gabriel Magalhães gave Arsenal the victory over the Tottenham.
