Former France U-21 international Roger Boli has eulogised the Super Eagles for their defensive solidity at the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Super Eagles have conceded just once in four outings in the competition.
Jose Peseiro’s side were particularly impressive in the wins against heavyweights Cote d’Ivoire and Cameroon.
Boli named Troost-Ekong, Semi Ajayi, Calvin Bassey and Ola Aina as the players, who have impressed him the most.
“In the other teams, I like the collective strength of Nigeria, especially the central defence, which has not conceded many goals. Ekong, Ajayi, Bassey, and also Aina, who does a great job on the pitch,” the former defender told CAFonline.
